Infinity Ward has confirmed on Twitter that a future update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will finally make changes to the audio for kill streaks in the game.
Right now, the VTOL Jet and other streaks are deafening when called into the map – making it hard to hear anything else nearby, including footsteps.
Infinity Ward’s Joe Cecot has confirmed on Twitter now that they are adjusting the audio for the kill streaks in a future update.
There is no set release date for this future update. Season 1 of the Battle Pass system, alongside Season 1 for the game itself, is set to begin sometime in December. An actual date has not been announced.
